✔️the proper fuel injection start angle and the method of measuring it are always given in the engine manual
✔️turn on the depressurizer or unscrew the injectors to be able to rotate them freely engine crankshaft
✔️place the first cylinder tube with a capillary (a device for setting the injection angle)
✔️set the fuel lever to maximum delivery
✔️bleed the fuel system
✔️rotate the crankshaft several times until the fuel will start flowing out through the capillary tube
✔️set the engine so that there is a compression stroke in the first cylinder (both valves closed)
✔️turn the shaft slowly to catch the moment when the fuel in the capillary starts to rise (this can be easily noticed because it always there are small air bubbles)
✔️the moment of the observed start of fuel pumping should agree with the appropriate mark on the flywheel. In the Ursus C-330 tractor, instead of a sign, there is a special pin located on the right side of the flywheel housing. This pin can only be inserted into the hole drilled in the flywheel if the injection start is correct.
✔️if the fuel supply started earlier than indicated by the signs, it means that the injection start angle is too large
✔️fuel delivery starting after passing the signs indicates that fuel injection is delayed
✔️In order to delay the injection with the flange mounting of the pump, turn the pump in the elongated holes in the direction of rotation of the drive shaft, turn the pump in the opposite direction to increase the injection angle (in the Ursus C-330 tractor engine, the elongated holes for adjusting the injection angle are made are on the wheel that drives the pump)
