ANKOR AKis a quick-drying primer with excellent adhesion to substrates. Contains chemically active anti-corrosion additives. Creates matte coatings that are an excellent base for topcoats.

How to use:

The substrate should be clean, dry and degreased before painting.

Before applying ANKOR AK, mix thoroughly and dilute to the working viscosity depending on the method of application. It can be applied by brush, spray or dipping. For dilution, use ATA or AT solvent produced by “CHEMSTAL” Sp. z o. o. in Dębica or a third-party solvent based on toluene or xylene (however, a painting test must be performed using such a solvent).

Painting should be performed at temperatures of +5 to +30ºC and air humidity below 80%.

Product temperature +5 to +25ºC. The temperature of the painted substrate must be at least 3ºC higher than the dew point temperature.

Depending on the degree of corrosion risk, apply 1-2 layers of primer. The dry layer thickness should be 30-40 µm. Measure the thickness of the dry layer after obtaining 3 degrees. drying. It is recommended to apply the next layer within 6 hours (using the "wet on wet" method without corrective sanding). In the case of the "dry on dry" method, corrective sanding between layers is recommended.

Time of applying the top coat:

• Ftamal TU alkyd enamels, up to 10 hours ("wet on wet") or after at least 72 hours ("dry on dry method")
• Chlorolux chlorinated rubber enamels, acrylic Emakryl up to 3 hours ("wet on wet") or after at least 7 days
• enamels styrene-acrylic within 2-3 hours (wet-on-wet method) or at least 72 hours after the primer layer has dried.
• Ftamal LUX phthalic enamels after 12 hours
